About Kidz Care 4 Kidz
How it Started
Darya’s passion to help the homeless started at age 8 when she saw a homeless man in the shopping plaza and she went and gave him the money she had from her piggy bank. Ever since then, her passion has been to help the homeless and the underprivileged families of our community. She begged her mom to create a club for her to raise awareness and to help the homeless by raising funds and in-kind donations in order to provide food and shelter for the homeless. Darya started making beaded bracelets for fun and then her idea turned into beaded pens which she makes and sells. She decided to give all proceeds to charity. Her first round of donation of $1020 went to St. Matthew’s Home of Fort Myers women and children unit. She will continue selling her $5 pens to continue her mission.
